As the importance of using hydrogen vehicle space increases, the industry is continuing research and development to secure space. In particular, efforts are being focused on hydrogen tanks that occupy a lot of space in the vehicle body.

Honda released the 'CR-Ve:FCEV', a hydrogen-electric hybrid SUV, after halting production of the Clarity, a sedan. It is believed that the SUV was launched to compensate for the space that was insufficient due to the loading of bulky hydrogen tanks. Porsche also applied for hydrogen tank storage technology to secure space to the German Patent and Trademark Office.

Related movements have been detected in Korea as well. T4L, a carbon composite material company, is the main character. T4L started as a venture company in 2001 which means "Textile For Life." In 2015, the company built RTM facility line for radial braiding, and in the following year, it started the composite material business in earnest by developing propeller shafts and drive shafts for vehicles, and releasing RTM method based on braiding. In 2019, it received the Presidential Commendation.

Currently, it is showing off its technological prowess in various industries such as aviation, sports, defense, transportation, industry, and materials. It has been conducting a lot of research and development under the direction of CEO Chun Jin-sung, who was an engineer. Although it is not well known to the public, it is expanding its influence in the carbon composite material field by communicating with large domestic companies such as Hyundai Motor, Samsung, and KCC, as it focuses on R&D rather than mass production.
