The Defense Acquisition Program Administration participated in the 3rd Airworthiness Certification Briefing held at the Daejeon KW Convention on November 18, 2024. The Defense Acquisition Program Administration introduced the "Small Drone Specialized Standard Airworthiness Certification Standards" applied to small drones with a maximum takeoff weight of less than 600kg, and supported domestic small and medium-sized enterprises to enter the defense business.

Through this briefing session, the threshold for SMEs to enter the defense business in the aviation sector was lowered, and the business department in charge of the latest drone business status and pilot project system were also given time to explain the current status of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration so that domestic SMEs can enter the defense business.
